Being a leading organization with experiences in EPC, O&M projects for mining, coal handling, port and substations in India and Middle East, CREW had planned to venture into coal washery projects as a diversification. To get the latest state of art technology in coal washery, we decided to have a suitable tie-up with reputed international coal washery technology supplier, M/s. Techgart (Beijing) Engineering Ltd (TBE) at China.
TBE is a leading original American engineering construction company offering state-of-the-art in coal washing technology with integrated solutions having its own manufacturing facilities for process equipment. TBE has built up nearly 100 Turn-key projects of coal washeries in Russia, China and Indonesia with total processing capacities of 1000 MMT. Many Projects delivered by TBE have been awarded with national golden prizes in China. TBE is also involved into India’s coal market with their marketing partner in Delhi and being a member of coal preparation society of India.
In line with the decision of our management to venture into setting up coal washery projects, a team headed by our Managing Director Mr.V.R.Senthilkumar, Consisting the flowing Top Officials President–Project & Services Mr.A.Sivakumar, Vice President Mr.V.Palaniyappan, Mining Consultant Mr.D.K.Sathpathy, Contract Manager Mr.J.Selvakumar visited Beijing, China during the first week of April 2019 to discuss and finalize the agreement with TBE for taking up EPC and O&M projects of Coal Washeries.
After a detailed discussion, an agreement was signed between CREW and TBE on 5th April 2019 to pool the respective strength to exploit the opportunity in Coal Washery Business. TBE is also open to have manufacturing base in India in future for the process equipment and spares. This heralds a new opportunity to our organization to entrench our position in coal processing.
